What is Device Management?

Device Management allows you to authenticate the security and ownership of the Akirix account.

 

Convenience

This is required for additional security. You can also add many different devices.

Steps:

  1. While in the Akirix Portal, click on your company’s name at the top left of the screen.
  2. Next to ‘Account Settings’, click on ‘Authenticators‘.
  3. On the far right of the window, click the ‘Add Device‘ button.
  4. Create and type in a nickname for the device, and select the type of device.
  5. Click the ‘Activate‘ button.
  6. Open the AppFinal_Android114X114 ‘Security’ app. Tap the ‘+‘ button on the bottom right corner of the app.
  7. Tap on ‘Scan QR Code‘, and scan the image shown on the computer screen with your device.
  8. After verified, you will see a 6 digit number on your device.
  9. Type this 6 digit number into the text box on your computer that reads, ‘2. Type in code generate by the app‘.
  10. Click the ‘Activate‘ button located to the bottom right.
  11. Your device has been successfully activated.

 

Remove Device

  1. While in the Akirix Portal, click on your company’s name at the top left of the screen.
  2. Next to ‘Account Settings’, click on ‘Authenticators‘.
  3. While having the device you wish to be removed selected, click the ‘Revoke‘ button on the bottom right.
  4. Your device has been successfully removed.
